Summary

Metal detecting here in 1997 recovered a Roman hair pin with a circular button-shaped head and stout tapering shaft. It appears to have been undecorated.

December 1997. Metal detector find.
Roman hair pin with circular button-shaped head, convex above and smoothly curving down to shaft below. Stout tapering shaft, with tip missing. No swelling on shaft. Some of surface missing, but apparently undecorated.
