Hooked tag with circular plate. At top are stubs of 2 attachment loops and at bottom in stub of hook, old breaks. Plate has relief decoration of a central boss with ?four pairs of radiating grooves giving a fleur-de-lis effect. Late Saxon.
Suspension loop probably from a horse harness pendant. Below loop on one side only is a double transverse groove, then come two broken-off stubs, one pierced with a hole at right angles to the plane of the suspension loop. Perhaps two stubs held a hinge bar for a swinging pendant. Medieval.
