Summary

A 17th century brick and flint house, with later alterations, and an elaborate Dutch gable. Reused medieval stonework has been incorporated into the building, and may have come from Binham Priory, NHER 2081.

Formerly Green Farm.
On south side of green, not north as on (S1).
Stucco over flint and brick, 17th century two storey house with 19th century rear wing and 17th century front wing. Main facade with four sash windows and tripartite window; first floor has 5 sashes. Coped parapet marks earlier roof line. 19th century porch. Three pedimented dormers. Coupled end stacks and 19th century central stack. Gable walls have reused stone. Domestic 17th century wing is parallel to house and joined at north-east corner; west gable wall has five light mullioned window under moulded brick lintel, and above a string course a five light mullion and transom window. Elaborate Dutch gable with seven finials above architrave and pilaster strips. Brick passage connects to house.
Restored in 1986.
