Full Description
1998. Network of drainage ditches, well defined and maintained and possibly part of spring field, is situated to the north of one rectangular ditched enclosure which has a roughly T-shaped building platform.
Considerable spread of post medieval brick/tile and Glazed Red Earthenware fragments (possibly a few late medieval tile with two fragments of Glazed Grimston Ware in molehills, one a scrape).
Probable toft overlooking valley floor, continuing well into post medieval period. Long grass precludes detailed analysis.
Pottery identified by A. Rogerson (NLA), at NCM.
B. Cushion (NLA) 24 April 1998.
