Full Description
12 January 1998. Fieldwalking. Only east half of field examined so far.
One flint flake.
One body sherd ?Thetford-type.
One rim fragment ?shell tempered, probably early medieval.
Four body sherds medieval unglazed.
Three body sherds of Glazed Grimston and one sherd of ?Glazed Grimston (burnt).
Three sherds of Glazed Red Earthenware.
One medieval floor tile fragment, thickness 20mm. Fine fabric, one nail hole, but core and upper surface reduced. ?Flemish, burnt.

Late August 1998. Surface finds. In stubble in west part of field.
One body sherd unglazed Grimston and a chip of pink granite.
