18 December 1997. Fieldwalking (Finder's Field 66).
Systematic fieldwalking by [1]. Field under young cereal, though surface very good.
1 ?Middle-Upper Palaeolithic retouched flint flake.
2 undatable prehistoric worked flints, including 1 patinated scraper and 1 globular core.
7 Roman pottery sherds.
2 ?medieval pottery sherds (1 unglazed, 1?glazed Grimston).
1 medieval roof tile fragment.
2 post-medieval pottery sherds (1 GRE, 1 late post-medieval glazed).
