Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1997 recovered a number of prehistoric flints, sherds of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery and a medieval tile. A Neolithic flaked flint axehead was subsequently found here in 2006.

2 undatable prehistoric worked flints, including 1 patinated scraper and 1 globular core.
7 Roman pottery sherds.
2 ?medieval pottery sherds (1 unglazed, 1?glazed Grimston).
1 medieval roof tile fragment.
2 post-medieval pottery sherds (1 GRE, 1 late post-medieval glazed).
