Summary

The site of a drainage windmill and later engine house containing a scoopwheel powered by an oil engine. The engine house was demolished in 1989, and the scoopwheel is now on display at Morse's Wind Engine Park in Repps.

Site of drainage pump.
Described on Norfolk Industrial Archaeology Society (NIAS) fiche (S1) (where grid reference wrongly given as TG 288 072) as a drainage mill but no data given to show it was wind turned.
First record found is 1906 25 inch Ordnance Survey map although the dyke at the head of which it stands is shown on the first edition one inch Ordnance Survey map of 1838.
In its most recent form it was oil driven.
Demolished 1989 and machinery taken to Fleggburgh Bygone Village Museum.
