Summary

This late 17th to early 18th century chalk and gault brick house is built on a flint base and has a slate roof. It has one bay and two storeys. There is low 17th century range at rear built of flint, carstone and brick. The house was renovated and altered in 1982. Inside the 18th are ducks nest grates, including one which has the silhouette of George III.

17th century house, remaining section originally two storeys with lobby entrance by stack, but with cell beyond parlour cell. Reused limestone in places. South block added about 1800, quite fine interiors. Upper floor of older section converted to dormer attic. Many alterations in 1982.
