Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1998 and 1999 recovered a significant number of prehistoric worked flints, including several potentially Palaeolithic flake and a small number of probable Neolithic pieces. The bulk of the material was however not closely datable, although its crude nature suggested it was most likely associated with Bronze Age or Iron Age activity.
