1998. Metal detecting find.
Copper alloy key. D-shaped bow with stem issuing from the straight edge. Along either side are 2 pierced lobes and in the centre of curved edge are remains of a suspension loop. Within the D-shape is openwork decoration of 5 circles. The stem is oval in section and pierced at the tip. The bit has 2 shallow cuts on its forward edge and a central perforation.
