Full Description
1998. Metal detecting.
Early post medieval square coin weight with one face bevelled. Makers mark on top face; an upright right hand, with the initials A and I either side (unknown maker from the Low Countries). The underside has an unclear design, possibly a flower with petals protruding from the base. Weighs 7.263g (0.256oz). 16th century.
