Full Description
1955. Stray Find.
Found 300yds [274m] south-southwest of Manor Farm (Context 2 at [1]).
Neolithic polished axehead of grey flint. See drawing (S1).
Information from (S2). This discovery is amongst those listed in (S3) and was was also the subject of local press article (S4).

11 March 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, well weathered soil, young cereal.
Context 1. MDT AO.
General scatter odd sherds medieval pot and flints, possibly odd Roman sherds as well.
Context 3 at 6562 1429. MDT 10.
Sparse spread pot boilers but no flint on edge of mineral soil. Likely to be prehistoric rather than Roman? About northeast to southwest x 36m northwest to southeast at 3.7m OD.
