Full Description
1938. Stray Find.
Found 50 yards [46m] south-west of Castle Farm while cutting a drain (Black Dyke Drain):
Complete Roman pot in hard grey ware. Wheelmade, 5 1/2 inch [14cm] diameter at lip, 2 1/2 inches [6.3cm] diameter at base, 5 1/4 inches [13.3cm] high, everted rim, Late 1st century.
Recorded as being in King's Lynn Museum in 1938 and probably the object now accessioned as KILLM : 2002.51.

Letter from drainage board to C. Hines, 1972 (seen by E. Rose, NAU) says 'skull' found with this (but very vague).
