'Handmade black round-bottomed pot; 12 cms maximum diameter. 10cms high.

?Middle Saxon derivation of Early Saxon pot. Probably 7th to 8th century.

(S1) marks at grid reference on southwest of Rainbow Plantation 'Roman urn in museum'. There is no Roman pot from Wormegay in KLM other than later finds located elsewhere, and no other elligible urn. The entry probably refers to this find.
