Summary
A Roman puddingstone quern, used as a farm gate stop until 1950 when it was salvaged by Queen Mary and placed in the York Cottage Estate Museum.

October 1950.
Puddingstone quern in York Cottage Museum.
Until summer of 1950 used as a gate stop on Harpley Dams Farm.
Salvaged by Queen Mary.
Information from [1], who found no traces of occupation adjacent.
