30 August 1979. Visited by E. Rose (NAU)
Good farmhouse, yellow brick, 5 bays, 2 storeys with columned porch (is this original?) The only original farm buildings remaining are those on north side courtyard, large brick and flint barn with cartsheds forming a T-shape. Date plaque on north gable illegible (though farmer claimed he could read 187- on it).
(S1) mentions plaque of 1882 on a 'coach house' but this is not found.
Saw pit marked on Ordnance Survey has gone.
