Summary

In 1969 a number of medieval pottery sherds were recovered here. Metal detecting in 2005 to 2007 recovered a number of Saxon to post medieval objects, including an Early Saxon hanging bowl escutcheon and a Middle Saxon pin.

2 medieval coins, 10 pottery sherds (6 Grimston), 1 seal matrix, 2 bluckle frames, 1 furniture fitting, 1 fragment of strap fitting, 1 lead spindle whorle.
2 medieval/post-medieval fragments of vessel ?handle or ?leg, 1 lead weight, 4 unidentified object fragments.
1 post-medieval coin, 2 pottery sherds, 1 belt mount, 1 lead weight (3oz), 1 knife-end-stop.
