Late Saxon Thumb decorated pottery.
R. R. Clarke (NCM).
Note. R. R. Clarke (NCM) marked spot on map at above grid reference but gave grid reference on card as 734 154 and noted 'Site needs marking more accurately'. Did he in fact do so?
