Summary

In 1892 a Neolithic polished greenstone axehead was found in East Walton. The exact location and nature of its discovery are uncertain.

Found at unknown location in East Walton parish:
Neolithic polished stone axehead ("well made polished celt of greenstone").
Noted in (S1) and (S2).
Information from (S3). Although one of three Neolithic polished axeheads listed on (S3) as being in the King's Lynn Museum (ex Plowright Collection) this object cannot be identified in the museum's current accessions records. A pencil note on (S3) also suggests that a drawing exists of this greenstone axehead, although the location of this is also unknown.
