Full Description
January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 8.4).
Prehistoric flint flakes, pot boilers, two medieval sherds and one tile fragment, and a post medieval sherd were recovered during fieldwalking. Metal detecting yielded a medieval to early post medieval trade weight along with several undated copper alloy items and lead scrap.
