Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting along the route of the Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline recovered prehistoric worked flint flakes and two flint scrapers.

Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 30.8).
13 Prehistoric flints were recovered, including two blades, flakes, and retouched flakes. These finds represent the central portion of a very broad spread of flint finds extending for 1180m, through RDX 30.7 (NHER 12165) to the north and RDX 30.9 (NHER 34025) to the south.
