Summary

A post medieval house with 20th century elements. It was originally timber framed, with some beams possibly 17th century in date. The eastern part of the buidling was added during the 18th century. In the 19th century the roof was heightened and some walls were rebuilt in brick. Further rebuilding was carried out during the 20th century. Two Roman coins and a prehistoric worked flint have been found in the garden.

Building is now two properties.
House, originally timber framed, partly of three-cell layout, the beams suggesting a 17th century date. Eastern section added (or rebuilt) in 18th century. Whole reclad and heightened in 19th century and extensively altered in the 1970s.
From garden; two Roman coins, others reported from area - to be identified.
Flint object resembling half a hammerstone, the flat side with a fossil cavity but apparently retouched.
