Summary

Metal detecting here in 1998 and 2005-06 recovered a variety of metal objects, coins and pottery sherds. Finds included medieval strap ends, a post medieval buckle frame and a post medieval spur.

November/December 1998. Metal detecting in restricted area.
One Roman coin (see list in file).
Two medieval unglazed bowl rims (including one with wide flange and in light grey fabric).
One base sherd coarse sandy, reduced, probably Roman.
Height OD 60m.

1 post-medieval rowel spur and 1 bar of lead casting waste.
