Summary
Fieldwalking in this area during 1999 recovered prehistoric flint flakes, part of a medieval harness pendant and a piece of lava quern - possibly medieval in date. In addition, sherds of Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery were retrieved.

2 March 1999. Fieldwalking. Contexts 1-5. Height 55m to 60m. Fieldwalking under good soil but poor weather conditions.
Prehistoric flints.
Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval sherds.
Medieval harness pendant, bar mount.
