June 1953. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Late 17th-century house with attached warehouse to rear, remodelled late 18th century. Converted to shop with accommodation c.1885, altered late 20th century. 18th-century facade. Red brick with burnt headers. Roof of black-glazed pantiles.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys; five-window range. Late 19th-century plate-glass shop front with internal sliding display doors...Platband between floors. Timber eaves cornice under a bell-based gabled roof. Internal gable-end stacks north and south, that to north truncated. North return in Row 116 has a mid 18th-century door...set within a doorcase with fluted pilasters, pulvinated frieze and a modillion cornice. Running west is a flint and brick 17th-century warehouse range with loading doors to all three storeys. Upper floor is an addition when façade remodelled in 18th century…
INTERIOR: barrel-vaulted 18th-century cellar to rear wing. Ground floor front formerly two rooms, now one. North door lobby with patch of 17th-century small-framed panelling...Rear roof of principals and boxed collars. Front roof similar but with arched collars."
