v1996. Metal detecting.
NB recorded under record number NHER 32271, now known to be part of a larger find scatter.
A piece of sheet metal was recovered during metal detecting. The item was identified the top hemisphere of a sheet-metal bell.

Medieval gilded bronze hooked mount, pierced trefoil terminal for harness pendant? Two rivet holes, one secondary.

January 1998. Metal detecting.
Two lead cloth seals and a fragment of a socket candlestick were recovered during metal detecting. The candlestick piece was identified as a broken branch from a socket candlestick with both loops (into which the sockets would be fitted) intact. The item was dated to the late 15th or early 16th century. The two lead cloth seals are from Augsburg, Germany and dated to the post medieval period. They are two part, with a very nicely drawn pine cone on the solid disc and the letter A on the remains of the rivet. The seals are from a fustian (mixed linen/cotton) made in Augsburg and imported 16th/17th century.

Seven Roman, two medieval and six post medieval coins (including a Danish one), one post medieval token, one post medieval jetton, a Late Saxon hooked tag, a Roman brooch (S1) and other Medieval and post medieval metal finds were recovered during metal detecting.

1998. Metal detecting.
Additional finds made at the same time as those previously reported. The items recovered include eleven Roman and four medieval coins, a military buckle possibly of early Roman date, a Middle Saxon pin (S2), a bead of possible Bronze Age or Roman date, and medieval and post medieval finds including a 16th century ?silver ball headed pin which has been drawn (S1).

Before August 1998. Metal detecting.
A variety of Middle Saxon and Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval metal finds were recovered, including a 12th century stylus, ten medieval coins, sixteen post medieval coins, ten post medieval tokens and seven post medieval jettons. Two Roman coins were also identified.
