Full Description
1998. Metal-detecting.
Base of small lead medieval ampulla, with shell like grooves on one face and no decoration on other. Two holes have been made at the top as if it broke in antiquity and was then pierced for suspension. (S1).
Medieval pottery.

1998-1999. Metal-detecting and fieldwalking at location [1].
One very abraded body sherd, possibly Thetford type, probably Roman greyware.
One rim fragment abraded, part reduced sandy, thick, everted with two thumb nail impressions on top. Possibly Roman.
Three post-medieval stoneware and one post-medieval iron glazed.
