Full Description
February 1999. Metal detecting.
Approximate find spot.
H.M. Geake (NCM) identified;
Copper alloy medieval key, see (S1).
Lozenge form bow with double grooves running round both faces at each corner. Grooved moulding at junction of bow and stem. Circular section stem, pierced at tip and bit with one long and one short wardcut. About 14th to 15th century.
