Metal detecting on the beach in 1994 recovered a Middle Bronze Age copper alloy rapier.

June 1994. Found upright on beach in peat and clay bank on boundary between old parishes of Eccles and Palling; mostly in peat. End 15cm (6 inches) below the surface.
Found with metal detector by [1].

Found close to NHER 32001, but nearer to the sea wall and about 15 metres from it.
