Map

Earlier 1999. Metal detecting.
One medieval coin, see list in file.
Very corroded sheet copper alloy disc (diameter 15mm) with two projections on opposite sides (15 to 20mm long). One is curled under and the other one's tip is bent up and over. Both tips may be broken. Either the pin of a medieval disc-on-tongue brooch (unlikely because rather badly made) or a Roman military pendant. But corrosion makes certainty impossible.
Identified by H.M. Geake (NCM).
A. Rogerson (NLA), 8 September 1999.
