Summary

A post-medieval house and shop. The building was constructed in the late 16th century and was extensively remodelled during the 20th century. It is built of red brick, has two storeys and an attic and there is a shaped gable façade alongside the road.

February 1998. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop and house. Late 16th-century origins, remodelled 20th century. Red brick, rendered and whitewashed. Roof of concrete tiles. Two storeys and attic; two-window range. Façade has a shaped gable edge-on to the road. 20th-century shop front...Shaped gable rebuilt mid 20th century. Gabled roof with a rendered stack on north wall plane...Former yard to west now with a two-storey 20th-century infill.
INTERIOR: ground floor with an ovolo-moulded bridging beam. Roof of principals and collars, the collars removed."
