Ring, probably finger ring, now distorted. Pointed ends of hoop now not touching, once over-lapping. Interior is smoothed, exterior sharply angled and swelling towards centre. Fourteen/fifteen ring-and-dots along each side of angle. Late Saxon. See (S1).
