Summary

A post medieval public house. It was built in the late 17th or early 18th century and had a new façade added during the late 19th century. It was also altered in the 20th century and extended in 1981.

High Street.
Public house. Early 18th century, altered 20th century, additions of 1981 to rear. Stuccoed brick. Late 19th century public house façade with two sash windows above. Interior has ovolo moulded bridging beam with bar and tongue stops at both ground and first floor. First floor has lintel of horizontal window above the sashes. Butt purlin roof.

(S1) dates some features to the early 18th century but from the description they could be 17th century.
