January/ February 1994. Metal detecting.
Found close together.
Medieval copper alloy strap end, two V-shaped cuts in top edge, rivet at top and rivet hole below, perhaps secondary; rivet near tapering tip. Terminal has a tiny lobe.
Copper alloy gilded medieval strap end buckle with integral plate and two rivets with roues on reverse. Longitudinal groove in centre of plate. Pierced hole for (missing) pin. Oval buckle frame with mouldings at junction with plate.
