Full Description
Human remains found in electricity trench.

Further information from KLM map: Found 1 December 1972 with flint, cobbles and bricks.

Informant notes documentary evidence may point to a chapel of St Peter in this area.

2008. Fieldwalking and metal-detecting recorded an area of flints and mortar, and geophysical survey recorded a rectangular two-cell building, the square east end of which was later replaced by an apsidal cell. There are plans to conduct an archaeological evaluation of the chapel as part of the West Acre History Fair on 24/25 August 2008.
