Full Description
1998. Stray Find.
1 Mesolithic/Neolithic utilised flint flake. A well formed blade-like flake in grey/brown flint with worn nodule cortex at the distal edge. The left edge is worn and has some fine retouch/ reworks, probably from use as a knife for which the shape is well suited. Slight patination only. Probably Neolithic but could be earlier (?Mesolithic).
Identified by P.A. Robins (NCM), 17 September 1998.
K. Sussams (NCM), 13 May 1999.
