Full Description
April-July 1998. Watching Brief.
Observation of exit orifices of moledrain tunnel beneath River Chet for carrying electric cables.
Locations of exits from engineers plan.
Report (S1) notes that "… a few sherds of late 16th century pottery" were recovered, although it does not specify whether this was at one end or both.
The other exit is site NHER 34822.
