Full Description
January-April 1999. Metal detecting. [1].
Fragment of buckle plate, originally openwork and rectangular with a fleur-de-lis terminal.
Parts of 2 rectangular perforations survive, along with 2 circular holes.
Most of the fleur-de-lis survives (except the central projection).
One rivet hole survives in the centre of the fleur-de-lis.
Decorated all over with double lines of triangular punch marks.
Old breaks.
Width present length 23mm.
