Summary

Metal-detecting at unrecorded locations in Wramplingham parish during 1998 recovered Roman coins and a range of other objects including a Late Iron Age hook or broken hoop; a Roman cosmetic set and brooches; a Roman or later pair of tweezers; a possible Saxon brooch fragment; a medieval buckle and casket key and a medieval/post-medieval book or box mount.

Unidentified copper alloy object. Identified by [2] as Saxon(?) brooch.
Medieval oval buckle with integral plate. Unusual form.
Medieval casket key.

1 Late Iron Age copper alloy hook or broken hoop. See drawing (S1).
14 Roman coins, 4 brooches, and 1 toilet set comprising tweezer, scoop and a broken possible nail cleaner.
1 Roman/Early Saxon/medieval pair of tweezers.
1 medieval/post-medieval book/box mount.
