Summary

Aerial photographs taken in 1976 show the cropmarks of a rectangular enclosure at this location. Earlier photographs have identified these ditch features to be open earthworks of post medieval to modern drainage ditches, and consequently they were not mapped by the National Mapping Programme. It is possible, however, that at least one earthwork bank feature visible to the south may be of earlier origin, and this has been recorded separately as NHER 57458.
