Map

Large brick barn, English bond, horizontal skintlings; walls divided into panels by pilasters and plinth, each containing serif-I slit.
Central cobbled threshing floor and cart doors, east porch reduced.
Catslides are later as they block the slits but south gable wall is unbroken across full width suggesting it is a later rebuilding, and the the roof is later.
Date of barn about 1800, alterations about 1850.
On each gable is a large fragment of 14th/15th century stone tracery presumably from the church.
The house, in separate ownership, is of two storeys divided by platband; original brick probably 17th century but original layout of six arched windows is masked by large 19th or 20th century inserted windows and brickwork; very little visible on exterior.
House on this site apparently marked on 18th century copy of map of 1630 in NRO, though difficult fo relate to present land portions.
E. Rose, (NLA) 18 March 2000.
