Full Description
THESE EARTHWOKS ARE NOW RECORDED AS NHER 26614.
24 April 1967. Ordnance Survey air photography.
Earthworks.
Water meadow.
D. Voisey (NLA), 23 January 1996.
November 2003, Norfolk NMP.
Site now recorded under NHER 26614 and extended to include other areas of earthworks. These features have been interpreted as a form of narrow ridge and furrow. However the channels may relate to land improvement for pasture, rather than for arable, and therefore act in a similar way to a water meadow system.
S. Massey (NMP), 14 November 2003.
