Summary

This Hall is in the Classical style and features a Doric porch. It dates to sometime in the first half of the 19th century and has two storeys. The Hall is built from gault brick on a rendered plinth and has red brick to the rear. The central bay of the northern façade projects and has a porch.

It had been suggested by [1] that there is an icehouse somewhere at the hall but this is actually at the Old Hall (NHER 3979).

Excerpt of Listing Description:
"Country House, built 1835 by Thomas Tuck. Gault brick (red brick to rear) on rendered plinth; hipped slate roof. Two storeys, three by four bays. Symmetrical north elevation of three bays with centre bay slightly advanced under a pediment. Central Doric porch with recessed half-glazed entrance doors with plastered surround and canopy on consoles. Sash windows with glazing bars; rubbed skew-back arches over openings. Wooden eaves cornice. Two chimney stacks behind ridge line. To the west, a lower two-storey service wing, three windows wide, with two ridge stacks."
