Full Description
1999. Metal detecting.
Medieval/early post medieval unidentifiable object narrowing towards base (the sides have been cut at a slant and the end broken off) with a projection at the top end above a rivet hole. The sides curve round as if to meet a back plate of similar shape. Possibly a knife or dagger chape.
K. Hinds (NLA), 1 September 2000.
