December 1999 to January 2000. Metal detecting. Spixworth Field 12.
Medieval jetton, incomplete.
Obverse: bust with double band across head, looking right. Legend reads +AVE…GRACIA.
Reverse: double-stranded arcuate cross fleury which interrupts legend. The letters M and AI can be seen. Possibly a late medieval Nuremberg issue (compare with (S1)).
