Full Description
Before 18 May 1998. Metal detecting.
Part of Bronze Age socketed axe (S1) with odd construction internally. Both cutting edge and mount missing. [1] suggests this may be an early example and dates to 1200 to 1000 BC, ie Middle Bronze Age.
