Summary

Extensive metal detecting carried out from 2000-06 has recovered a huge quantity of multi period metal finds. The finds are almost too numerous to mention but a few of particular interest include part of a Bronze Age socketed axe, Early Saxon brooches - including cruciform examples, a medieval half-ounce lead weight and a post medieval cloth seal.
