Summary

19th century net warehouse, still in its original condition. These types of building were used to repair and treat fishing nets for the Great Yarmouth fishing fleet and this is a rare survival of the industry, others in the area having been converted to houses.

Bulmer Lane.
This net warehouse has a corrugated iron roof and walls with chimney, repair and boiler annexes and rivetted iron tank. The warehouse is at the western end of the building and the repair room at the eastern end. It is currently used as garden shed behind Fairview.
This building was used to repair and treat fishing nets for the Yarmouth fleet and is of 19th century date. It is a rare survival of the industry, others in the area having been converted to houses. See record forms in file and (S1) and (S2).
