Summary

An early medieval ewer, found in dredgings from the River Yare in the late 19th century. The ewer was destroyed in a bombing raid during World War Two.

Early English ewer 'now in Yarmouth Museum' (1883).
Modelled by Goss as part of their historical replica series.
The object was destroyed during bombing raids in World War Two and no other record apparently survives.
