Summary

At sometime prior to 1880 an ancient jug was dredged from the sea off Great Yarmouth. The details of this find are not known although it was stated to be 'much larger' than the 'Yarmouth Ewer'.

'An ancient jug'. Details unknown except that it was 'much larger' than the 'Yarmouth Ewer' (see (S1)).
Modelled by Goss as part of their Historical Replica series, this was stated to be in the Tolhouse Museum but was destroyed in the 1940s air raid, apparently without any record.
